Paulo Gizon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Horquilla AFC. If Marcial Estebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vicente Natanael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Garoa in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of David Gaizko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Ricardo Galeno fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bermejo FC's protests and gave Ricardo Galeno a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 21 minutes, Nicanor Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Horquilla AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo Gizon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Bento in the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, Horquilla AFC's David Gaizko got control of the ball when Omar Garoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Bermejo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Castulo came free, but Paulo Gizon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Ellande's late challenge caught a Horquilla AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlos Ellande helped the player get up and apologised. Carlos Ellande hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Vicente Natanael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bermejo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Natanael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Gaizko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Bermejo FC's Carlos Ellande managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Benedicto Millano in the 52 minute of the game. In the 54th minute Vicente Natanael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Gaizko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Vicente Natanael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Vicente Natanael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bermejo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vicente Natanael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Gaizko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Bermejo FC's zone, Nicanor Bento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Gizon came out of the goal and Nicanor Bento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Omar Garoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. David Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horquilla AFC's Marcial Estebe got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Nicanor Bento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Horquilla AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bermejo FC the free kick. Horquilla AFC's David Gaizko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Natanael in the 74th minute of play. When Omar Garoa came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Bermejo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Garoa couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Horquilla AFC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Benedicto Millano hit a great ball. 81 minutes into the match, Omar Garoa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Horquilla AFC's David Gaizko. David Gaizko was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Omar Garoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. David Gaizko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Garoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Gaizko having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Vicente Natanael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicanor Bento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Paulo Gizon made a huge save. Bermejo FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
