The supporters of Ayacucho booed when Piñero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Ayacucho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Hunfredo to maneuver through the defense. When Matías Giordano fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ayacucho's protests and gave Matías Giordano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Piñero booed when Ayacucho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matías Giordano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Piñero players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ayacucho were winning 0-1.

Piñero's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Santo Platon 68 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. 김 견 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Agostinho Fonseca when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Ayacucho getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ferhat Durualp hit a great ball. 김 견 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silas Cojan struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Agostinho Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayacucho. In the 92nd minute, 김 견 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Sixto Katia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 김 견 in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agostinho Fonseca saved Piñero from getting behind. Ayacucho were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Piñero's much stronger midfield.
