Robustiano Cruz started the match with the kick off. When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Bartolo Ponce put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gerardo Seber. The supporters of Tobar booed when Aston Villa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Malvin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aston Villa F.C.'s Gerardo Seber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiberto Eguzki in the 8th minute of play. Celedonio Matxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gerardo Seber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes of play, Tobar's Celedonio Matxin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Seber was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15thth minute of the game Celedonio Matxin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aston Villa F.C.'s Gerardo Seber was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gerardo Seber was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Siro Weterio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 18 minute of play. Dante Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celedonio Matxin struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. In the 25th match minute, Tobar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Ponce to maneuver through the defense. Robustiano Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Serafo having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Dante Macario recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerardo Seber. Dante Macario showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Karl Söderman struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gerardo Seber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tobar. After a rather tough play, Aston Villa F.C.'s Robustiano Cruz got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Göran Larsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tobar walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
