Spectators: 7058 (Terracing: 5295, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 140) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gogo Gagriel started the match with the kick off. Carlos Quintun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rolando Mirande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Carlos Quintun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rolando Mirande, 1-0. Octavio Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Freddy Quintan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Talleres del Provincial's Santos Gilesindo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Mirande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Talleres del Provincial booed when Agrovet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugo Rosario didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute Freddy Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Eriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agrovet's Rolando Mirande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Quintun in the 24th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Agrovet got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Matia. Freddy Quintan might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolas Eriz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddy Quintan ran back to his position shaking his head. Santos Gilesindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres del Provincial's zone, Gogo Gagriel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Eriz came out of the goal and Gogo Gagriel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40th play minutes Freddy Quintan shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Nicolas Eriz and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Talleres del Provincial getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Herminio Canor hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Quintun stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gogo Gagriel was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Agrovet's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Gagriel in the 58th minute of play forced Talleres del Provincial's goalkeeper Nicolas Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Freddy Quintan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Eriz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Gagriel in the 69th minute of the match. Nicolas Eriz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gogo Gagriel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 76 minute of play. With a little luck, Talleres del Provincial's Nicolas Eriz got control of the ball when Freddy Quintan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Agrovet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Abar to maneuver through the defense. If Carlos Quintun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Agrovet eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
