Luis Calvino ran back to his position shaking his head. XENEIZES's Luis Calvino got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Fred Ribeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicolas Eriz. That made the score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. Talleres del Provincial's Nicolas Eriz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Talleres del Provincial from getting a goal against them. Braulio Dacio's late challenge caught a XENEIZES's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The coaching staff of XENEIZES protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paolo Curcio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in XENEIZES fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty!
