Kent Flinck started the match with the kick off. Edson-Arantes do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Asur in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th minute Everardo Tadzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edson-Arantes do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Goyo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 10 minutes of play, LAS CANALLADAS's Paolo Cordario made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edson-Arantes do Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Josue Molina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ivan Valery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Valery made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Edson-Arantes do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Breogan in the 37th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Aldosivi's Kent Flinck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivan Valery narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Kent Flinck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aldosivi's supporters rose to their feet, but Kent Flinck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Valery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Breogan was the one to do the kick off. If Joel Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kent Flinck struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ivan Valery didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aldosivi. Ivan Valery came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Aldosivi's Josue Molina. But to his dismay, Josue Molina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ivan Valery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Flinck in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute, LAS CANALLADAS's Paolo Cordario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Josue Molina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd minute, Kent Flinck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 77 played minutes LAS CANALLADAS got a freekick which was hit by Severino Eleder. When Joel Luzea came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Aldosivi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Luzea couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Aldosivi's Joel Luzea got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Aldosivi's goalkeeper Edson-Arantes do Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adan Asur. After 86 played minutes Aldosivi got a freekick which was hit by Joel Luzea. LAS CANALLADAS's Moises Breogan got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. LAS CANALLADAS's Ivan Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Flinck in the 95th minute of play. LAS CANALLADAS were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Aldosivi to leave the ground with a draw.
