Club Atletico Boca Jrs.'s Silvestre Lugo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 22nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jose Raulo but with some difficulty. The crowd rose to their feet as Fausto Kaxen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jose Raulo. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Dioses del Olimpo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Gai to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Dioses del Olimpo's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Ethem Erserim came free, but Jose Raulo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when İbrahim Ethem Erserim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. There was no doubt that Club Atletico Boca Jrs. were the better team. Club Atletico Boca Jrs.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
