Lisandro Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Orland having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Gregorio Rivas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gorina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roman old boys the free kick. Primitivo Orland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Bortzaioriz in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 30thth minute of the game Vinicio Hibai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Roman old boys's Roberto Beliran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Gorina's Vinicio Hibai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Beliran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquin Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Melquiades Henry missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 42 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Roberto Beliran right hand side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Astor Ramos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Astor Ramos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Roberto Beliran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Sayveon charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Sayveon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabio Sayveon kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 55thth minute of the game Feliberto Bortzaioriz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gorina's Primitivo Orland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Feliberto Bortzaioriz took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Primitivo Orland. Primitivo Orland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Lisandro Mero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Henry made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Guido Esdras however managed to control. Vinicio Hibai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Roberto Beliran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lisandro Mero came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Roman old boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lisandro Mero couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, Gorina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Henry to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Hibai got free with Roberto Beliran in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roman old boys's goalkeeper Roberto Beliran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
