Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1630, VIP seats: 141) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Urbano Mel got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Dragones-Negros booed when Mares del SUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Abaurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that André Mota's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilio Cordera was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the match, Mares del SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Quirce came free, but Emilio Cordera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 6 minutes of play, Dragones-Negros's Bernabe Quirce made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Cordera was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, André Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dragones-Negros's supporters rose to their feet, but André Mota was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emilio Cordera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Israel Olando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adolfo Feo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. André Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Cordera having to interfere. Esteve Oinaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Cordera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Esteve Oinaz ran back to his position shaking his head. When André Mota came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Dragones-Negros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Mota couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Mares del SUR getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Israel Olando hit a great ball. If André Mota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bernabe Quirce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Oinaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Cordera having to interfere. Emilio Cordera came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Dragones-Negros's Esteve Oinaz. But to his dismay, Esteve Oinaz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Adolfo Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Mel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Jacob in the 46th minute of play forced Mares del SUR's goalkeeper Emilio Cordera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when André Mota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Higinio Estevez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Emilio Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 57 in the game by André Mota from a close distance when the talented Emilio Cordera managed to make a qualified save. Mares del SUR's players were relieved. Humberto Jacob hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Bernabe Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Dragones-Negros's Higinio Estevez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emilio Cordera. Emilio Cordera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. 82 minutes into the match, André Mota had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilio Cordera. Mares del SUR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Mota was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Mel in the 86th minute of play forced Dragones-Negros's goalkeeper Adolfo Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bernabe Quirce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mares del SUR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dragones-Negros were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
