Gaston Chago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Balasi in the 3rd minute of the match. The Chasicó fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when Chasicó's Reynaldo Balasi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Balasi in the 7th minute of play forced Yacuy's goalkeeper Gaston Chago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filiberto Jayvier in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cesar Rami saved Chasicó from getting behind. After having played for 10 minutes, Lucio Liberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yacuy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Liberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Chago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Balasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Lucio Liberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gaston Chago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benigno Piearres's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Isidoro Benvido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gaston Chago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Liberto got free with Cesar Rami in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 35th minute of the match Anibal Matthew shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Chago showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gaston Chago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Bermund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Serafo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Chasicó booed when Yacuy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Gines didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Isidoro Benvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Chago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Chasicó's Reynaldo Balasi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gaston Chago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Yacuy players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chasicó were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filiberto Jayvier to make the kick off. If Isidoro Benvido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chasicó's Reynaldo Balasi was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 57th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Iker Restu struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Gaston Chago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chasicó. If Marcos Bermund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Benigno Piearres could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Gaston Chago however easily saved by the left post. If Reynaldo Balasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Yacuy defense, Marcos Bermund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Chago. The Yacuy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Chago should have stopped the shot. Reynaldo Balasi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Chago having to interfere. With a little luck, Yacuy's Gaston Chago got control of the ball when Isidoro Benvido tried to sneak it across the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Filiberto Jayvier notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of Chasicó's Cesar Rami. Cesar Rami was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chasicó's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
