In the 13th minute, Adriana Semeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. F.C La Balon 's Gaspar Jaunti couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Malvinas. Eloy Liberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Damaso Ferdinand read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezequiel Irrintzi during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Malvinas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Irrintzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Arnulfo Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malvinas's Ezequiel Irrintzi got his second yellow card of the match in the 24th minute. The referee ordered Ezequiel Irrintzi off the ground. The supporters of F.C La Balon booed when Malvinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ezequiel Irrintzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damaso Ferdinand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Galo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eloy Liberto came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the F.C La Balon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eloy Liberto couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in F.C La Balon 's zone, Nicanor Benat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliézer Dracena came out of the goal and Nicanor Benat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damaso Ferdinand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Liberto in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Arnulfo Galo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Ferdinand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eloy Liberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicanor Benat was the one to do the kick off. Arnulfo Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. F.C La Balon 's Eloy Liberto got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Damaso Ferdinand managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when F.C La Balon 's Arnulfo Galo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Malvinas:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of F.C La Balon :s goal. Arnulfo Galo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Ferdinand having to interfere. Arnulfo Galo might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Damaso Ferdinand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnulfo Galo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute, Arnulfo Galo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C La Balon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Arnulfo Galo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Damaso Ferdinand skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 74th minute, Eloy Liberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damaso Ferdinand made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Arnulfo Galo sent off a good shot on target. Adriana Semeno charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriana Semeno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damaso Ferdinand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Liberto in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Jimeno Havier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C La Balon 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malvinas the free kick. Damaso Ferdinand made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Arnulfo Galo sent off a good shot on target. F.C La Balon played a much better game than Malvinas and deserved their victory. The Malvinas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
