Marco Palban made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Silvano Errapel sent off a good shot on target. Marco Palban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Damario in the 4th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, LoS ChiKoS DeL mAiZ's goalkeeper Marco Palban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Galindo. In the 9th minute, Española FC's Alfonso Paublo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marco Palban. Marco Palban yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Raul Bartoleme hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Silvano Errapel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alfonso Paublo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Marco Palban made a huge save. Marco Palban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Damario in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in LoS ChiKoS DeL mAiZ's zone, Alfonso Paublo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Palban came out of the goal and Alfonso Paublo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Palban was a little too slow when Feliberto Maura got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 3-0. Alejandro Kemen lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Alejandro Kemen kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Rodolfo Polentzi took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Augusto Etxahun. Augusto Etxahun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Silvano Errapel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Marco Palban skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Feliberto Maura to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, one of LoS ChiKoS DeL mAiZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for Española FC. Ubaldo Galindo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marco Palban. 4-1. Braulio Barrionuevo came free with the goalkeeper in the 58th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Augusto Etxahun could save by the left post. Augusto Etxahun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Polentzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Palban stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliberto Maura's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute Feliberto Maura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Palban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marco Palban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Toribio in the 65th minute of the match. Silvano Errapel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Palban having to interfere. Española FC's Federico Gaizko was substituted for Freddy Perfecto. Española FC's Ceferino Gabirel was substituted for Silvano Errapel. Ceferino Gabirel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Maura in the 81st minute of play forced LoS ChiKoS DeL mAiZ's goalkeeper Marco Palban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eleuterio Manzano hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Anselmo Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the LoS ChiKoS DeL mAiZ defense, Ceferino Gabirel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Palban. The LoS ChiKoS DeL mAiZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Palban should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Española FC fully deserved thier win.
