In the 19th minute Eliseo Cebrian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Aresti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Aresti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Mundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Roman Aresti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Oskarbi went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. instituto te amo's Roman Aresti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Azubeli in the 25th minute of play. Roman Aresti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Mundo in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, instituto te amo's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Mundo came free, but Roman Aresti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Mundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Aresti having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Higinio Mundo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Aresti was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Eliseo Cebrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Aresti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Mundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the instituto te amo defense, Eliseo Bibiano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Aresti. The instituto te amo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Aresti should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hermengildo Azubeli made a kick off. Benigno Sandalio struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute.
