In a very dangerous position, a player in Bogardo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 24 minutes, Acassuso's Igor Senen got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Braulio Pereyra. Ciriaco Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ermegildo Martino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Martino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Theobald in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Teodosio Nofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acassuso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Nofre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Bogardo FC booed when Acassuso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Theobald in the 54th minute of play forced Acassuso's goalkeeper Ermegildo Martino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes of play, Bogardo FC's Octavio Theobald made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ermegildo Martino was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th minute Conrado Galeno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Pereyra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Acassuso's Ermegildo Martino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Theobald in the 75th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Theobald in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Martino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermegildo Martino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciriaco Abadie in the 80th minute. Ciriaco Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciriaco Abadie hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Ciriaco Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Ermegildo Martino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogardo FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
