Haroldo Maureo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 4 played minutes Rodeo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marciano Michael. Honorato Claris blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lisandro Franco having to make a save. Cardo Italiano FC's Silvio Behe quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Israel Matei, made in the 10th minute of the game. Lisandro Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Botello, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Rodeo AFC got a corner. Cardo Italiano FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Honorato Claris ran over to the corner to take the kick. Silvio Behe thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Lisandro Franco, a very annoying self made goal in the 14th minute which led to 0-1. Vicente Massa was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Haroldo Maureo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Haroldo Maureo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 21st minute, Israel Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Rodeo AFC's Florencio Sanchez got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Israel Matei in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cardo Italiano FC's Silvio Behe. Lisandro Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Matei in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Anastasio Botello notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cardo Italiano FC's Lisandro Franco. Lisandro Franco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute Anastasio Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Matei, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Domingos Geleberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Lisandro Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Anastasio Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Cardo Italiano FC defense, Anastasio Botello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lisandro Franco. The Cardo Italiano FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lisandro Franco should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rodeo AFC's goalkeeper Vicente Massa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th minute, Honorato Claris reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lisandro Franco. The goal made the score 1-4. Cardo Italiano FC's Lisandro Franco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Cardo Italiano FC from getting a goal against them. Lisandro Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Claris in the 59th minute of the match. If Fernando Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Matei received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lisandro Franco came out and tried to block the shot, but Israel Matei slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 68th minute. Rodeo AFC's Vicente Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Mambru in the 74th minute of play. Lisandro Franco made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Anastasio Botello sent off a good shot on target. After 81 played minutes Cardo Italiano FC got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Maureo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Botello in the 83rd minute of play forced Cardo Italiano FC's goalkeeper Lisandro Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Massa came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Cardo Italiano FC's Teofilo Mambru. But to his dismay, Teofilo Mambru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Lisandro Franco was a little too slow when Anastasio Botello got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 2-6. When the match was over Rodeo AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cardo Italiano FC throughout the match.
