Spectators: 7162 (Terracing: 5373, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 142) Comallo FC's Miguel Dayam started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Artemio Panfilo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurelio Distiratsu went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Aurelio Distiratsu sped through Comallo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Artemio Panfilo. Gaston Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Panfilo having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Comallo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Playo to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Panfilo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aurelio Distiratsu's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Madariaga were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Comallo FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gaston Cortez took the corner. After taking down the ball on Madariaga's corner Gaston Cortez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Artemio Panfilo quite easily take care of the ball. Elpidio James made in the 23rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Madariaga's Ildefonso Dimo. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Amador Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madariaga's supporters rose to their feet, but Amador Sesuldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artemio Panfilo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gaston Cortez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artemio Panfilo was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. When Aurelio Distiratsu came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Madariaga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelio Distiratsu couldn't finish the play. Gaston Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Artemio Panfilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artemio Panfilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio Distiratsu in the 40th minute of the match. If Gaston Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aurelio Distiratsu kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 57thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Comallo FC's keeper Artemio Panfilo was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 61 minutes into the match, Comallo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Cortez came free, but Artemio Panfilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Amador Sesuldo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Artemio Panfilo. That made the score 0-3 in the 62 minute of play. After 65 played minutes Madariaga got a freekick which was hit by Matias Betadur. Gaston Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Panfilo having to interfere. Aurelio Distiratsu had several of the Comallo FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-4 score and a disappointed Artemio Panfilo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Cortez in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Panfilo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santiago Haritzeder charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Haritzeder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aurelio Distiratsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Artemio Panfilo made a huge save. Julio Jakobe hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With his leg Artemio Panfilo managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Madariaga's Gaston Cortez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Comallo FC's goalkeeper Artemio Panfilo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Madariaga's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
