Javier Turis short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Norberto Urbasa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Isaac Matai took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Norberto Urbasa to make any attempt to save it. When Osvaldo Jax fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cementerio de elefantes's protests and gave Osvaldo Jax a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Centenario FC booed when Cementerio de elefantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Jax didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Mas hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Lennart Ahlstedt from long distance, 16 minutes into the match, got Norberto Urbasa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a defensive mix-up in Cementerio de elefantes's zone, Epifanio Cutberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodor Feliu came out of the goal and Epifanio Cutberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mateo Lluis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Norberto Urbasa. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. When Isaac Matai came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Cementerio de elefantes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Matai couldn't finish the play. Teodor Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Mino in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 played minutes Cementerio de elefantes got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Ostadar. After recieving a nice pass, Centenario FC's Ladislao Esdras tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The Centenario FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Centenario FC's Epifanio Cutberto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 38 played minutes Cementerio de elefantes got a freekick which was hit by Baldomero Bertin. Cosme Oihenarte made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Isaac Matai immediately put the ball in play. Santo Mino hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Centenario FC's goalkeeper Norberto Urbasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Javier Turi. Mateo Lluis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Norberto Urbasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Mateo Lluis slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
The wind increased when Epifanio Cutberto made the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Cementerio de elefantes's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Cutberto came free, but Teodor Feliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Epifanio Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Centenario FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Epifanio Cutberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Epifanio Cutberto got free with Teodor Feliu in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th minute Faustino Salomone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodor Feliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Cementerio de elefantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Ahlstedt to maneuver through the defense. Cosme Oihenarte made in the 69th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Isaac Matai immediately put the ball in play. 71 minutes into the match, Cementerio de elefantes's goalkeeper Teodor Feliu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Epifanio Cutberto. In the 76th match minute, Cementerio de elefantes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Bertin to maneuver through the defense. Teodor Feliu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 77th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ladislao Esdras. In the 82ndth minute of the game Javier Turi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Centenario FC's Norberto Urbasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 85th minute, Oscar Mas made a precise shot to the right of Teodor Feliu. Cementerio de elefantes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. After 95 minutes, Faustino Salomone mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Centenario FC and the Cementerio de elefantes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Centenario FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Salomone to maneuver through the defense. The Cementerio de elefantes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Centenario FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
