Matías Carvallo's late challenge caught a Trelew FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Humberto Rivero to make the kick off. In the 86th minute, Joaquin Balesio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomero Honrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91stth minute of the game Humberto Rivero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West City's Pedro Beti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Matías Carvallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
