When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Candido Maria took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Alonzo Ihintza to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Regis made a kick off. After a rather tough play, East Tandil Union's Aureliano Txindoki got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Alonzo Ihintza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Gartzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Candido Maria put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alonzo Ihintza. Asdfghjkl's Serafin Ermengol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Regis in the 59th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Hugo Regis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafin Ermengol. Asdfghjkl's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hugo Regis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2.
