In the 13th match minute, Club Atletico Trinidad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Bitxintxo to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Trinidad's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Pedroso came free, but Tiburcio Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Israel Dayam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiberto Etxekopar's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florencio Telmo got free with Tiburcio Tino in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Etxekopar in the 33rd minute of play forced Caleufú FC's goalkeeper Israel Dayam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Elpidio Cordareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Israel Dayam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Etxekopar in the 43rd minute of the match. Placido Frichoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filiberto Etxekopar to make the kick off. The supporters of Caleufú FC booed when Club Atletico Trinidad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julius Jungbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Israel Dayam, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 72 minutes into the match, Caleufú FC's goalkeeper Israel Dayam had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Etxekopar. When Filiberto Etxekopar came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Club Atletico Trinidad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filiberto Etxekopar couldn't finish the play. Club Atletico Trinidad's Esteve Arlo was substituted for Juan Mancio. In the 77th match minute, Caleufú FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Jurgi to maneuver through the defense. Tiburcio Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Nardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
