Damian Iago hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Mauricio Bittor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 37 in the game by Celestino Clis from a close distance when the talented Fabio Erasto managed to make a qualified save. ARSENAL.F.C's players were relieved. In the 40th minute, Celestino Clis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olascoaga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Leandro Aimar made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 61 minutes, Leandro Aimar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
