Spectators: 7140 (Terracing: 5356, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 142) CA Independencia's Augusto Iratzeder started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabio Erasto came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Independencia's Danilo Bilintx. But to his dismay, Danilo Bilintx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Independencia's goalkeeper Roberto Efraim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leandro Aimar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Efraim having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CA Independencia's zone, Mauricio Bittor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roberto Efraim came out of the goal and Mauricio Bittor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casimiro Neto came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fabio Erasto could save by the left post. When ARSENAL.F.C's Leandro Aimar in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CA Independencia's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Leandro Aimar sped through CA Independencia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roberto Efraim. The ARSENAL.F.C fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when ARSENAL.F.C's Leandro Aimar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Aimar in the 28th minute of play forced CA Independencia's goalkeeper Roberto Efraim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA Independencia's Roberto Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Aimar in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Julio Roland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Casimiro Neto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Erasto, 2-2. If Diego Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, CA Independencia's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Aimar came free, but Roberto Efraim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casimiro Neto's late challenge caught a ARSENAL.F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Casimiro Neto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ARSENAL.F.C booed when CA Independencia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casimiro Neto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute Blas Francesco suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Silvio Macario charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvio Macario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. ARSENAL.F.C's Matias Munio was substituted for Blas Francesco. In the 47th match minute, CA Independencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Macario to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see ARSENAL.F.C's Julio Roland in action when he in the 49th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leandro Aimar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauricio Bittor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabio Erasto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Bilintx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CA Independencia booed when ARSENAL.F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Bittor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the ARSENAL.F.C defense, Augusto Iratzeder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Erasto. The ARSENAL.F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Erasto should have stopped the shot. ARSENAL.F.C's Diego Henry shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 69th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Roberto Efraim but with some difficulty. Fabio Erasto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Iratzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Danilo Bilintx took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Erasto. Fabio Erasto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. After having played for 80 minutes, Diego Henry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARSENAL.F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Henry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Roberto Efraim didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 4-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Leandro Aimar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roberto Efraim. That made the score 4-4 in the 86 minute of play. With 92 minutes on the clock, Eleuterio Abecia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. When Prospero Orkatz fell near the penalty area in the 100th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Independencia's protests and gave Prospero Orkatz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CA Independencia getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Prospero Orkatz hit a great ball. The CA Independencia support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
