Jeremias Elodio's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Belgrano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jeremias Elodio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gondra AFC's Jeremias Elodio got a free kick in the 16th minute. Gerardo Baleren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hermengildo Pierres. Gondra AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Daniel Quinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Daniel Quinton made a precise shot to the right of Hermengildo Pierres. Gondra AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Belgrano's goalkeeper Jonas Bernard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Daniel Quinton notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Gondra AFC's Hermengildo Pierres. Hermengildo Pierres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute Joaquin Quintun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Bernard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Gondra AFC's Joaquin Quintun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonas Bernard. That made the score 1-2 after 48 minutes of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

After some careless play in the Gondra AFC defense, Arnaldo Esdras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hermengildo Pierres. The Gondra AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hermengildo Pierres should have stopped the shot. Silvano Aguilera kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Joaquin Quintun came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Gondra AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joaquin Quintun couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Gondra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Quinton came free, but Hermengildo Pierres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Gondra AFC's Marcial Montae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonas Bernard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. With a little luck, Gondra AFC's Hermengildo Pierres got control of the ball when Arnaldo Esdras tried to sneak it across the goal line.
