Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Frans started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Christian Eli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel Frans kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Honorio Manny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Eli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes Saavedra got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Lucado. In the 16th minute of the match, Segundo Lawrence got a very nice opportunity to score, but Honorio Manny was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Silverio Lekubegi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Eli in the 27th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Honorio Manny successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pillahuincó's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Astor Handi in the 29th minute. In the 31st minute, Christian Eli fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Honorio Manny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregorio Teodor went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Saavedra's Honorio Manny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Saavedra from getting a goal against them. If Christian Eli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Eli in the 47th minute of play forced Saavedra's goalkeeper Honorio Manny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Christian Eli made the kick off in the second half. Cornelio Presebal was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Donato Gregory. Honorio Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Eli in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Saavedra's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Lawrence came free, but Honorio Manny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Saavedra's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Eli came free, but Honorio Manny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Cornelio Presebal managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Saavedra's Miguel Frans fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Christian Eli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pillahuincó's supporters rose to their feet, but Christian Eli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Manny breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Manny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Lawrence in the 84th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Frans in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Presebal prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
