Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gervasio Francho took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Damaso Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 4 minutes, Ricardo Celio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cajas and the Washington players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Washington booed when Cajas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Celio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cajas getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ricardo Celio hit a great ball. Washington's Fernan Dodorol got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnaldo Chan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Daunte in the 10th minute of play. Simon Ladio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cajas's Marcos Gipuzkoa got a free kick in the 17th minute. Damaso Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Gervasio Francho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnulfo Emeterio. Cajas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gervasio Francho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Arnulfo Emeterio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Leocadio in the 26th minute. Arnulfo Emeterio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Fernan Dodorol. Everardo Daunte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ricardo Celio came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Cajas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Celio couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cajas getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ricardo Celio hit a great ball. Washington's Simon Ladio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 39th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arnulfo Emeterio but with some difficulty. In the 41st minute, Damaso Arias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 42 minutes into the match, Cajas's goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Burni came free, but Arnulfo Emeterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haroldo Ellande hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Everardo Daunte was the one to do the kick off. Ricardo Celio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Washington's goalkeeper Arnaldo Chan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Arias. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Francho in the 57th minute of play forced Cajas's goalkeeper Arnulfo Emeterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Cajas's goal looked a bit too open when Gervasio Francho came free, but Arnulfo Emeterio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnulfo Emeterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Ladio in the 59th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Everardo Daunte in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Chan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Daunte got free with Arnaldo Chan in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Everardo Daunte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Chan having to interfere. Adrian Gar's late challenge caught a Washington's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Gar helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Adrian Gar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Francho in the 84th minute of play forced Cajas's goalkeeper Arnulfo Emeterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damaso Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Chan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Leocadio in the 90th minute of play forced Cajas's goalkeeper Arnulfo Emeterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Chan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Celio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew the final whistle, Washington could leave the field as winners, despite Cajas having more of the ball for most of the match.
