Spectators: 4500 (Terracing: 3000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Abel Gotzon got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Midland booed when Merceditas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Castulo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Joachim hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Aureliano Maties sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustacio Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Gotzon in the 18th minute of the match. Eustacio Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Fertus in the 26th minute of play. Eustacio Ekialde stood somewhat misplaced when Abel Gotzon came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. Eustacio Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Gotzon in the 38th minute of the match. Simon Baristo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Marino in the 47th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Artemio Marino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Baristo was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Augusto Cresitobalo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Simon Baristo was a little too slow when Augusto Cresitobalo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 56th minute Abel Gotzon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustacio Ekialde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Gotzon's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Eustacio Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Gotzon, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Niceto Boniel kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Merceditas's Ramiro Cordarell couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 67th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Midland. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Gotzon in the 72nd minute of play forced Merceditas's goalkeeper Eustacio Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Ekialde came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Midland's Angelo Fertus. But to his dismay, Angelo Fertus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Simon Baristo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artemio Marino in the 78th minute. Angelo Fertus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Joachim got a throw-in 84 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Angelo Fertus. Abel Gotzon scored 4-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eustacio Ekialde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Serafin Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Augusto Cresitobalo came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Merceditas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Cresitobalo couldn't finish the play. Eustacio Ekialde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aureliano Maties's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Merceditas's Eustacio Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Gotzon in the 95th minute of play. Ramiro Cordarell hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute of the match Filiberto Donostia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustacio Ekialde showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Midland were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Merceditas for a fine match.
