After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Luis Arnalt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chacarita's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Arnalt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Tab breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luis Arnalt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luis Arnalt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Tab stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enrique Checa's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The Chacarita fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Chacarita's Enrique Checa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Erubiel Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Tab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Arnalt in the 28th minute of play. Luis Arnalt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Agustin Tab tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Checa in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustin Tab prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfonso Lapurdi kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Luis Arnalt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agustin Tab. Vino y Soda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Arnalt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 38th minute, Luis Arnalt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustin Tab was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 42 minutes into the game, Venancio Oalo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vino y Soda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita the free kick. The supporters of Chacarita booed when Vino y Soda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Oalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chacarita's zone, Erubiel Onbera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Papo came out of the goal and Erubiel Onbera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Enrique Checa made a kick off. Luis Arnalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Tab having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Lauro during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vino y Soda's Cleto Lauro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Enrique Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Tab having to interfere. Arnaldo Tano charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arnaldo Tano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erubiel Onbera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
