Arnaldo Derwin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candido Pacorro in the 5th minute of play forced Independiente F.C's goalkeeper Arnaldo Derwin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Derwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Candido Pacorro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute, Independiente F.C's Ulises Baudelio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Everardo Ciano. Everardo Ciano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. With a little luck, juanse mastronardi's Everardo Ciano got control of the ball when Bernabe Mercurio tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Timoteo Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Derwin came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by juanse mastronardi's Candido Pacorro. But to his dismay, Candido Pacorro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a rather tough play, Independiente F.C's Ricardo Urbasa got a free kick in the 35th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in juanse mastronardi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Independiente F.C a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Daniel Cordareo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of juanse mastronardi's Everardo Ciano. 3-1. Independiente F.C's Timoteo Chico got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 49thth minute of the game Timoteo Chico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but juanse mastronardi's Everardo Ciano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Candido Pacorro to make the kick off. When Gualterio Mede was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 56 minutes had been played. Everardo Ciano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Chico, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Denis Maraman during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Timoteo Chico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Ciano having to interfere. Everardo Ciano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernabe Mercurio's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Independiente F.C's Timoteo Chico sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Everardo Ciano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Independiente F.C's Bernabe Mercurio in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
