The supporters of MORBIUS booed when Porvenir Talleres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Orland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Argoitz made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Leonel Derwin sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, Porvenir Talleres's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Aballe came free, but Claudio Argoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cláudio Caniggia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Porvenir Talleres's Claudio Argoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cornelio Intxixu in the 27th minute of play. Claudio Argoitz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Teodoro Nofre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Caniggia in the 36th minute of play forced Porvenir Talleres's goalkeeper Claudio Argoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Argoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Intxixu in the 37th minute of the match. With a little luck, Porvenir Talleres's Claudio Argoitz got control of the ball when Leonel Derwin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claudio Argoitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Giosta Tervo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Porvenir Talleres's supporters rose to their feet, but Giosta Tervo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raúl da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cláudio Caniggia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Argoitz having to interfere. Claudio Argoitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Intxixu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Claudio Argoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Derwin in the 67th minute of the match. Claudio Argoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonel Derwin went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Claudio Argoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Rio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Caniggia scored 7-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Argoitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
