Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Orland to make the kick off. Claudio Argoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Raitin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Jon came out of the goal and Adolfo Orland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sebastian Jon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 巩坤迪 in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Bernaldo in the 82nd minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Sebastian Jon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lino Bernat came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Bernat couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Porvenir Talleres players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
