Spectators: 7116 (Terracing: 5339, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saverio Bras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Barbosa in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Zacarias Salomon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rivanera Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ombú the free kick. In the 9th minute Nicolas Nevada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Bras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Gerazan scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saverio Bras, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ciriaco Naelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lázaro Duarte's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Dante Chaime fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Naelio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ombú's zone, Lázaro Duarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Naelio came out of the goal and Lázaro Duarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Israel Barbosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciriaco Naelio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Chaime in the 36th minute of play. Ciriaco Naelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Chaime in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Lázaro Duarte fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ombú's Israel Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 51 minutes, Wlodzimierz Tyskie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rivanera Boys and the Ombú players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rivanera Boys getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Tyskie hit a great ball. Ciriaco Naelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Rivanera Boys's goalkeeper Saverio Bras had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Illart. Rivanera Boys's Saverio Bras proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Rivanera Boys from getting a goal against them. Guaberto Gerazan took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Saverio Bras. Saverio Bras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jacobo Quintun kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Lázaro Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Lázaro Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the game, Israel Barbosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Saverio Bras. Israel Barbosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Saverio Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Israel Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saverio Bras made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Guaberto Gerazan sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Ombú's Saverio Bras threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iker Illart, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Lázaro Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ombú's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
