In the 6th minute, Emiliano Jurdan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Tiniebra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Julio Urre hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Emiliano Jurdan came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the US Alessandria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Jurdan couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tatengue de Corazon's Leon Chano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernardo Kinsen. That made the score 1-1 after 19 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Tatengue de Corazon defense, Emiliano Jurdan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerardo Tiniebra. The Tatengue de Corazon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Tiniebra should have stopped the shot. Tatengue de Corazon's Gerardo Tiniebra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Jurdan in the 29th minute of play. Vladislav Kondrikov scored 1-3 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerardo Tiniebra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tatengue de Corazon's Lucas Hibai pulled a muscle in his back after 34 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Serafin Astigar during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to US Alessandria getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Serafin Astigar hit a great ball. Gerardo Tiniebra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Gomesano in the 39th minute of the match. After 39 minutes, Julio Urre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tatengue de Corazon and the US Alessandria players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of US Alessandria booed when Tatengue de Corazon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Urre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tatengue de Corazon's Gerardo Tiniebra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Jurdan in the 43rd minute of play. Baltasar Maureo lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Baltasar Maureo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Gerardo Tiniebra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Jurdan in the 48th minute of play. After the first half US Alessandria were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Javier Chayo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolas Orlondo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Javier Chayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tatengue de Corazon's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Chayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Kinsen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. US Alessandria's Evaristo Tejada got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play, US Alessandria's Evaristo Tejada made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Tiniebra was left in no man's land by his defense there! US Alessandria's Narciso Hurko was substituted for Alejandro Jaen. In the 81st minute, US Alessandria's Gaston Sagrario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-6. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Gerardo Tiniebra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 85th minute, Gaston Sagrario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The US Alessandria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. US Alessandria's Evaristo Tejada was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 89th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as US Alessandria's Evaristo Tejada slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerardo Tiniebra. That made the score 1-9 after 96 minutes of play.
