When Magnus Hjerl fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RACING CLUB's protests and gave Magnus Hjerl a yellow card for diving instead. Magnus Hjerl kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Ariel Elia kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Gualterio Gerazan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Moise in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Tacuarí's Edelmiro Gudesteo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edelmiro Gudesteo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tacuarí protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edelmiro Gudesteo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Esteve Crispo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 19th minute, Celedonio Mino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute Luisito Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Gerazan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Maldonado during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, one of RACING CLUB:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RACING CLUB. The referee gave Tacuarí a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celedonio Mino, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of RACING CLUB's Amancio Endura. 0-1. Gualterio Gerazan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luisito Ruisko showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Gualterio Gerazan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Ruisko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Mino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amancio Endura. RACING CLUB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tacuarí's Gualterio Gerazan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Ruisko in the 38th minute of play. Serafin Cordarrel struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gualterio Gerazan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RACING CLUB. Luisito Ruisko scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualterio Gerazan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luisito Ruisko was the one to do the kick off. Serafin Cordarrel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualterio Gerazan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55thth minute of the game Luisito Ruisko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tacuarí's Gualterio Gerazan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Amancio Endura successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 58th match minute, RACING CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Cordarrel to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Gai was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. Tacuarí's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Gogo Ubelteso kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Amancio Endura came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Tacuarí's Alberto Gai. But to his dismay, Alberto Gai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 69 minutes into the match, Tacuarí's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Ruisko came free, but Gualterio Gerazan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Gerazan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Moise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the game, Luisito Ruisko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Gualterio Gerazan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gualterio Gerazan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Ruisko in the 81st minute of the match. Amancio Endura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Gai in the 83rd minute of play. After 88 minutes of play, RACING CLUB's Cristian Moise made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gualterio Gerazan was left in no man's land by his defense there! RACING CLUB's Amancio Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gai in the 94th minute of play. RACING CLUB's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
