The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Beltran hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Primitivo Dabi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Aurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. A collision led to Tobatirenda getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Santiago Matai hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruperto Beturian was the one to do the kick off. Armando Indar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Joachim in the 52nd minute of play. Tobatirenda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Santiago Matai in the 54th minute. A nice corner shot did that Santiago Matai got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Armando Indar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Modesto Abechuco charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Modesto Abechuco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Modesto Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silverio Gerazan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Armando Indar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tobatirenda. 65 minutes into the match, A.C Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Gerazan came free, but Armando Indar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Dabi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Denis Beltran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 72 minute of play. Armando Indar came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Tobatirenda's Cipriano Joachim. But to his dismay, Cipriano Joachim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Haroldo Michael managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tobatirenda's supporters rose to their feet, but Haroldo Michael was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Indar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Indar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Beturian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Tobatirenda's Ruperto Beturian in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.C Milan's goalie prevented a goal. Arnoldo Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Primitivo Dabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tobatirenda players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
