Spectators: 6630 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1630, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edelmiro Santos got the match started through his kick off. In the 7thth minute of the game Angel Ortzi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ceres's Ignacio Rocio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Chira getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Filomeno Medina hit a great ball. When Chira's Marcos Ermengol in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ceres's goalie prevented a goal. Marcos Ermengol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Angel Ortzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Rocio was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Ignacio Rocio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ceres's Atilano Pagomari got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ignacio Rocio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Ermengol went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nemesio Salvino during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 45 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ceres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chira the free kick. Edelmiro Santos hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angel Ortzi to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Ermengol got free with Ignacio Rocio in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ignacio Rocio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Ortzi in the 55th minute of the match. The supporters of Chira booed when Ceres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Santos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Filomeno Medina sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ceres's Ignacio Rocio didn't even have to move. Ignacio Rocio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Ortzi in the 60th minute of the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Aureliano Perutxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ceres's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Perutxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ignacio Rocio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With splendid footwork Marcos Ermengol arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-3 by the left pole in the game's 82nd minute. Angel Ortzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Rocio having to interfere. Ceres's Ignacio Rocio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Ortzi in the 91st minute of play. Edelmiro Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Ortzi in the 95th minute of play forced Ceres's goalkeeper Ignacio Rocio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chira played a much better game than Ceres and deserved their victory. The Ceres players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
