Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arnulfo Eztebe got the match started through his kick off. 0-2 became the score in the 7th minute when Zeledon Telmo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ubaldo Pasqual fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Santana having to interfere. After some careless play in the Carrisalito defense, Ubaldo Pasqual kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Santana. The Carrisalito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Santana should have stopped the shot. After having played for 15 minutes, Generoso Tomi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Real Pilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Tomi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Octavio Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Generoso Tomi in the 19th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saul Baldovino during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Carrisalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Baldovino to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Zeledon Telmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavio Santana. Carrisalito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Telmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. In the 28th minute, Zeledon Telmo made a precise shot to the right of Octavio Santana. Carrisalito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. With an all-out effort, Carrisalito's Osvaldo Lehoi threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilberto Vidal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnulfo Eztebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilberto Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Osvaldo Lehoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes Real Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Ubaldo Pasqual. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Vidal in the 38th minute of play forced Real Pilar's goalkeeper Osvaldo Lehoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldo Lehoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute of the match, Arnulfo Eztebe got a very nice opportunity to score, but Osvaldo Lehoi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Maximino Argoitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavio Santana was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Generoso Tomi was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Carrisalito's goalkeeper Octavio Santana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubaldo Pasqual. Carrisalito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Ubaldo Pasqual scored to the left of an out of position Octavio Santana, making the score, 0-6. When Arnulfo Eztebe came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Carrisalito fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Eztebe couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the match, Zeledon Telmo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavio Santana. Carrisalito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Telmo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. 72 minutes into the game, Zeledon Telmo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octavio Santana. Zeledon Telmo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Carrisalito's Arnulfo Eztebe got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Generoso Tomi struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Octavio Santana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Pilar. After 79 played minutes Real Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Vincent. Octavio Santana made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Maximino Argoitz sent off a good shot on target. Saul Baldovino kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Real Pilar's Generoso Tomi got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th match minute, Carrisalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Dominic to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Carrisalito's Octavio Santana got control of the ball when Maximino Argoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Arnulfo Eztebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cornelio Arano hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Real Pilar's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
