If Rolando Cambranes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolando Cambranes during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rolando Cambranes in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Narciso Jerrold, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tomas Cedro kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Cuatreros FC's Emilio Valente got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Narciso Jerrold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Cambranes might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Narciso Jerrold. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolando Cambranes ran back to his position shaking his head. Caballito's Rolando Cambranes got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Cuatreros FC got a freekick which was hit by Roman Evis. In the 43rd minute, Tomas Cedro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emilio Valente in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Refugio saved Caballito from getting behind. After 59 played minutes Cuatreros FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Peter. Patricio Guzman's late challenge caught a Cuatreros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Guzman helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Caballito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Guzman to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Jerrold stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Cambranes's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Maximino Sotil took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Refugio. Caballito's Tomas Refugio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Caballito from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Cuatreros FC's zone, Rafael Goiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narciso Jerrold came out of the goal and Rafael Goiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Hipolito Peter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Refugio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Valente in the 96th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caballito had won after a very even match.
