Gustav Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Santiago Gabrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 26th play minutes Gustav Nordström shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Santiago Gabrio and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 29th minute, Quetrequén's Gustav Nordström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santiago Gabrio. Santiago Gabrio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Astor Rameriz took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Santiago Gabrio to make any attempt to save it. Santiago Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Vigil in the 38th minute of play. Fermin Gergori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Santiago Gabrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gustav Nordström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Santiago Gabrio. That made the score 4-0 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustav Nordström made a kick off. The supporters of MONOS VERDES booed when Quetrequén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Dimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Isak Gulliksson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience was convinced that Gustav Nordström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santiago Gabrio was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 59th minute, Ubaldo Betadur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnoldo Vigil got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Quetrequén getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Arnoldo Vigil hit a great ball. When Astor Rameriz came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Quetrequén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Rameriz couldn't finish the play. MONOS VERDES's Santiago Gabrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Rameriz in the 75th minute of play. Ubaldo Betadur hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Astor Rameriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Pascual Gil managed to get in a good position for a shot. MONOS VERDES's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Gil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isak Gulliksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Astor Rameriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute.
