Spectators: 5007 (Terracing: 4005, Seating: 1002, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pascual Gil took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th match minute, Club Atletico Argentinos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andres Oier to maneuver through the defense. Andres Oier stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of MONOS VERDES's defenders and the ball went out. Club Atletico Argentinos appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. After 9 minutes, David Pinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Argentinos and the MONOS VERDES players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Argentinos's David Pinto got a free kick in the 10th minute. João Adolfo Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute of the match Club Atletico Argentinos got a corner. MONOS VERDES's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zeledon Ibañez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Club Atletico Argentinos's Doriva das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubaldo Betadur in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Betadur got free with Doriva das Neves in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Doriva das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascual Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Andres Oier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Argentinos's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Oier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Gabrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pascual Gil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Doriva das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

A collision led to Club Atletico Argentinos getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Patricio Hermelando hit a great ball. Santiago Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Maranhense in the 55th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Argentinos's zone, Pascual Gil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doriva das Neves came out of the goal and Pascual Gil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ubaldo Betadur's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Doriva das Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Pascual Gil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Gil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doriva das Neves having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Betadur had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doriva das Neves. Club Atletico Argentinos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ubaldo Betadur was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 71 minutes of play, MONOS VERDES's Ubaldo Betadur made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doriva das Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Doriva das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Betadur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 77 minutes, Hilario Ortzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MONOS VERDES and the Club Atletico Argentinos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Hilario Ortzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th of the match, Adriano Maranhense tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Santiago Gabrio got in the way and made a wonderful save. Club Atletico Argentinos's João Adolfo Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andres Oier kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Andres Oier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the MONOS VERDES players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
