Gerardo Esquipula made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Rafael Telmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Michal Lewandowski came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Geri F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michal Lewandowski couldn't finish the play. After having played for 21 minutes, Michal Lewandowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geri F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Michal Lewandowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geri F.C.'s Flavio Basajaun couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bariloche. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michal Lewandowski in the 30th minute of play forced Bariloche's goalkeeper Gerardo Esquipula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 31 played minutes Bariloche got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Lonzo. Gerardo Esquipula didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michal Lewandowski went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 37 minutes into the game, Felipe Marko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bariloche's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geri F.C. the free kick. In the 38th minute, Felipe Marko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michal Lewandowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerardo Esquipula having to interfere. Leopoldo Feo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. If Fermin Moise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
51 minutes into the game, Fermin Moise recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gerardo Esquipula. Fermin Moise showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Hipolito Dubardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bariloche's Jimeno Raulo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Geri F.C.'s Michal Lewandowski got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute, Michal Lewandowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michal Lewandowski in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerardo Esquipula saved Bariloche from getting behind. After having played for 68 minutes, Fermin Moise managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geri F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fermin Moise was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerardo Esquipula stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fermin Moise's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. The supporters of Geri F.C. booed when Bariloche was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Guillerme didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Michal Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Bariloche's goalkeeper Gerardo Esquipula had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michal Lewandowski. A hard shot 84 in the game by Michal Lewandowski from a close distance when the talented Gerardo Esquipula managed to make a qualified save. Bariloche's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Bariloche's zone, Michal Lewandowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Esquipula came out of the goal and Michal Lewandowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eleuterio Baumar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Donio in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Lonzo in the 95th minute of play forced Geri F.C.'s goalkeeper Eleuterio Baumar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Michal Lewandowski came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Geri F.C. fans jumped to their feet.
