Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Damaso Cuarto started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Alejandro Nesor recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Feliberto Virila. Alejandro Nesor showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Feliberto Virila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Nesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Norumbega FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Errolan to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Julio Regis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Virila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Damaso Cuarto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Guaberto Iraido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Norumbega FC's Feliberto Virila got control of the ball when Silvio Gustau tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Didi Zonta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norumbega FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Assunta the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Norumbega FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Didi Zonta to maneuver through the defense. Feliberto Virila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Regis in the 29th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Bodea during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Assunta's Alejandro Nesor ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Feliberto Virila. Feliberto Virila yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Julio Regis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliberto Virila having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmiro Selmo during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Feliberto Virila came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Assunta's Silvio Gustau. But to his dismay, Silvio Gustau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 59 minutes into the match, Norumbega FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Regis came free, but Feliberto Virila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Virila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Gustau, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Julio Regis scored 5-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Feliberto Virila, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Efrain Figueroa's late challenge caught a Norumbega FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Figueroa helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Assunta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 71st minute. Penalty! Feliberto Virila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Gustau, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Alejandro Nesor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prospero Aguilera kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Julio Regis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 82nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Feliberto Virila. Norumbega FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Alberto Casomiro notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Norumbega FC's Feliberto Virila. Feliberto Virila was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvio Gustau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Feliberto Virila having to make a save. Feliberto Virila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Gustau, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. There was no doubt that Assunta were the better team. Assunta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
