The Escoipe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Modesto Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Baristo hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Jonathan Efren's late challenge caught a Escoipe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rui Vides struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Esteban Rioja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escoipe. After a rather tough play, C.A.Estudiantes's Ismael Baristo got a free kick in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Darius Ploughman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteban Rioja was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After 45 minutes of play, Escoipe's Darius Ploughman made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteban Rioja was left in no man's land by his defense there!

With his leg Esteban Rioja managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Escoipe's Rui Vides fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Angelino Arnalt struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Carolo Asur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Estudiantes. Carolo Asur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Arnalt, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.Estudiantes's goalkeeper Esteban Rioja, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rui Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Rioja having to interfere. Darius Ploughman received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carolo Asur showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rui Vides struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Esteban Rioja didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escoipe. Godfredo Azibar kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Escoipe defense, Angelino Arnalt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carolo Asur. The Escoipe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carolo Asur should have stopped the shot. The C.A.Estudiantes fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Escoipe were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
