The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A.PATRONATO reached it. When Higinio Haitz fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Charruas's protests and gave Higinio Haitz a yellow card for diving instead. Ruperto Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdem Sözer in the 27th minute of play. 朱悦克's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. With a little luck, Los Charruas's Ruperto Tino got control of the ball when 朱悦克 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruperto Tino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Severiano Atarratze showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Los Charruas's Bruno Montrel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Placido Oriche narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Montrel made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Erdem Sözer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruperto Tino was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Richie in the 56th minute of play forced Los Charruas's goalkeeper Ruperto Tino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severiano Atarratze took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Tino. Ruperto Tino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Los Charruas's Ruperto Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erdem Sözer in the 64th minute of play. C.A.PATRONATO's Placido Oriche proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.PATRONATO from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Los Charruas defense, Severiano Atarratze kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Tino. The Los Charruas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Tino should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 朱悦克 in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Tino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 72 played minutes Los Charruas got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Maju. Ruperto Tino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Atarratze in the 75th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, C.A.PATRONATO's Fermin Richie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Tino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. If Erdem Sözer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes, C.A.PATRONATO's Arnoldo Ortzi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ruperto Tino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in C.A.PATRONATO reached it. Ruperto Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 朱悦克, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A.PATRONATO walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
