Los Charruas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Conrado Raymundo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Conrado Raymundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Ruperto Tino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Los Charruas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Maju to maneuver through the defense. Ruperto Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Iraido in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Los Charruas getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Lorenzo Maju hit a great ball. If Albino Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lorenzo Maju's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Candido Harriet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Candido Harriet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Montrel in the 29th minute. Candido Harriet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Maju, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Los Charruas booed when Lipeo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Peru didn't get a good kick on the ball.
