Uriel Clodio in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Maximino Ur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 1-1 became the score in the 13th minute when Uriel Clodio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 15 played minutes Sarmiento AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pascual Errando. Oscar Blai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laureano Delfino, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute Laureano Delfino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Blai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Sarmiento AFC's Isaias Mede sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximino Ur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Uriel Clodio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Maximino Ur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ildefonso Dimo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Oscar Blai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maipú. After some careless play in the Sarmiento AFC defense, Laureano Delfino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Blai. The Sarmiento AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Blai should have stopped the shot. In the 35th minute, Laureano Delfino made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Blai. Sarmiento AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Cosme Florian's late challenge caught a Sarmiento AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cosme Florian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Cosme Florian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Ur made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Uriel Clodio sent off a good shot on target. If Ildefonso Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 48 minutes into the match, Isaias Mede dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maximino Ur, 2-3. The Sarmiento AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Maipú were winning 2-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laureano Delfino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ildefonso Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Blai having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Sarmiento AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Laureano Delfino came free, but Oscar Blai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Uriel Clodio spun around in front of the goal 73 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Maipú's goal. Isaias Mede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Ur having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Ildefonso Dimo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Isaias Mede succeeded in the game's 81st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-3. Bernardino Ascencio hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Isaias Mede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Ur having to interfere. When Uriel Clodio came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Sarmiento AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Uriel Clodio couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
