Pascual Txerran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Donato Damario when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Cañuelas's Siro Roldan got a free kick in the 15th minute. Siro Roldan's late challenge caught a Menucos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Siro Roldan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th minute, Siro Roldan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Cañuelas's goalkeeper Donato Damario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Txerran. After 21 minutes of play, Menucos FC's Pascual Txerran made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Damario was left in no man's land by his defense there! Braulio Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldo Gar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Braulio Blanco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Damario. Cañuelas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Braulio Blanco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some careless play in the Cañuelas defense, Pascual Txerran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Damario. The Cañuelas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Damario should have stopped the shot. When Osvaldo Gar fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cañuelas's protests and gave Osvaldo Gar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cañuelas's Osvaldo Gar got a free kick in the 59th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Txerran couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Pascual Txerran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Damario was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Pascual Txerran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
