After a defensive mix-up in Ciénega's zone, Cesar Tiso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feliberto Bidari came out of the goal and Cesar Tiso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cesar Tiso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Feliberto Bidari made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, Cardozo's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Bastiaro came free, but Dante Egoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cardozo's goalkeeper Dante Egoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
