Benedicto Tancredo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Botija's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Ospin in the 45th minute of play forced Botija's goalkeeper Basilio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Bodokier's Ricardo Cidro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basilio Abad was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Bodokier players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Botija.
