After 15 minutes, Ricardo Cidro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bodokier and the La Vecchia Signora players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of La Vecchia Signora booed when Bodokier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Cidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rosendo Muno during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rosendo Muno hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ricardo Cidro was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Irrintzi got free with Silvio Vincente in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Prospero Barto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cassidy Carbery came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by La Vecchia Signora's Luisito Palos. But to his dismay, Luisito Palos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Ospin to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bodokier's Gabriel Telo got a free kick in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Bodokier's goalkeeper Cassidy Carbery had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Palos. Felipe Gauargi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cassidy Carbery having to interfere. Bodokier's Cassidy Carbery proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Bodokier from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, Prospero Barto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cassidy Carbery, 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armando Walme during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luisito Palos took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cassidy Carbery. Cassidy Carbery dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 82nd minute, Delmar Dino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, Bodokier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmiro Lain to maneuver through the defense. 1-6 became the score in the 86th minute when Prospero Barto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 93rd minute, Luisito Palos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bodokier's zone, Felipe Gauargi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cassidy Carbery came out of the goal and Felipe Gauargi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Vecchia Signora's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
