Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Julio Lon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Lon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 8 minutes, Jorge Mincho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bodokier and the Argentina players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jorge Mincho kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Omar Valerio fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Argentina's protests and gave Omar Valerio a yellow card for diving instead. Omar Valerio kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The supporters of Argentina booed when Bodokier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Hartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cassidy Carbery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Natal in the 20th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Cecilio Matxin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentina's supporters rose to their feet, but Cecilio Matxin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cassidy Carbery breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Bodokier's goalkeeper Cassidy Carbery had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cecilio Matxin. After some careless play in the Argentina defense, Roman Hartz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Precioso. The Argentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Precioso should have stopped the shot. After 30 played minutes Bodokier got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Fidencio. In the 33rd minute Ricardo Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Precioso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Cidro in the 33rd minute of play. Cassidy Carbery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Lon in the 37th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Ricardo Cidro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Argentina's Mariano Precioso. Mariano Precioso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Bodokier's zone, Julio Lon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cassidy Carbery came out of the goal and Julio Lon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julio Lon made a kick off. Ricardo Cidro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Mariano Precioso made a huge save. Cassidy Carbery took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Matxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Romeo Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Precioso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Argentina's Mariano Precioso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Argentina from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Irrintzi in the 70th minute of play forced Argentina's goalkeeper Mariano Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th minute of the match, Romeo Ospin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mariano Precioso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julio Lon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Ospin in the 78th minute of play forced Argentina's goalkeeper Mariano Precioso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Precioso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Hartz in the 90th minute. Ricardo Cidro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mariano Precioso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ruben Irrintzi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mariano Precioso came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruben Irrintzi slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 96th minute.
